A line of storms formed from south Lake Michigan and southern Cook County to Rockford with a clash of cold air off Lake Michigan and hot, humid summer air from earlier in the day. The line of storms has stalled and is training over DuPage County and southern Kane County. A Flash Flood Warning was activated at 2:35 pm for DuPage, Northeastern De Kalb, Will, southern Kane, and South Central Cook counties.
