Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:55 PM Saturday to a report of a rollover crash with injuries at Golf Road and Lois Drive Rolling Meadows, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash with a vehicle on its roof.
Police on scene reported one patient unconscious trapped in the vehicle. CPR was performed by police inside the overturned vehicle.
Police reported the patient was awake but still trapped by 12:59 pm.
First firefighter/paramedic crew on arrival reported a vehicle upside down right against the wall of I-90 — just east of I-90.
Firefighters were removing the vehicle roof at 1:02 pm.
Firefighters were also standing by with a hose line.
Firefighter/paramedics were using a second set of “Jaws of Life” cutters by 1:10 p.m.
Fire command reports one patient in the vehicle, working on extrication and expecting one transport to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital by 1:12 p.m.
The patient extricated by 1:26 p.m. and transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital
