UCLA campus police and Los Angeles responded about 10:00 a.m. Wednesday to a report of two people shot at Boelter Hall — an engineering lab.
The entire UCLA campus was placed on lockdown and students were told to shelter in place.
Los Angeles police officers in tactical gear entered the building following a report of two people shot at the building at 580 Portola Plaza, Los Angeles, California.
UCLA authorities confirmed there was a shooting on campus.
Police say at about 11:10 a.m. PT two people have been shot and killed in the incident that started about 10:00 a.m. PT.
