Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:44 AM Monday to a report of crash with injuries at 1329 South Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of flames and smoke showing in the garage, and that all occupants were out of the house.
The first crew on arrival reported they have a fire and requests a working fire response.
The primary search was all clear by 6:53 a.m.
Tower 1’s crew was checking for extension into the attic by 6:53 a.m.
Tower 1’s crew confirmed a fire in the attic by 6:55 a.m.
Engine 2’s crew was pulling a second line off of Engine 3 by 6:55 a.m.
Chief 100 reported the primary search was complete and negative, a positive water supply with two lines on the fire, and all companies working by 7:00 a.m.
Elk Grove’s Quint 7 crew assigned overhaul by 7:02 a.m.
Chief 101 reported a knock on the fire in the attic and the garage by 7:02 a.m.
Salvage and overhaul operations were underway by 7:18 a.m.
