CIA Director John Brennan says that despite losses on the battlefield, ISIS’ terrorism capabilities and reach has not been reduced.
CIA Director John Brennan testified today at a hearing on his agency’s operations and resources. He called ISIS in Libya the most dangerous branch of the terror organization. Brennan also outlined some key threats the next president will need to address, including cybersecurity, ISIS, and nuclear proliferation.
Brennan reported that despite all of our progress on ISIS on the battlefield and in the financial realm, our efforts have not reduced the group’s terrorism capability and global reach.
