Skokie police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:29 AM Monday to a report of car vs CTA train crash at 7756 East Prairie Road Skokie, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to find a red car severely destroyed in a crash with a CTA Yellow line train.

First firefighter/paramedics on the scene reported they could see two occupants in the mangled red car.
Passengers and a conductor were also reported injured aboard the CTA Yellow line train that came to a stop to the east of the crash scene.
At least seven ambulance responded to the scene, and an EMS BOX 2nd Level was activated for the mass casualty incident.
Patients are being transported to St Francis Hospital in Evanston and Skokie Hospital.
Service on the Yellow Line has been temporarily suspended due to a collision with a vehicle. Use 97 Skokie as alt. Shuttle buses also avail.
