The shooter’s brother, Raheel Farook, has been charged with a marriage fraud scam.
Three members of Syed Farook’s family recently arrested may not have known anything about the San Bernardino terror attack, but were scrutinized for any wrongdoing during an investigation of the terror attack.
Raheel Farook, a decorated US Navy veteran; Raheel’s wife Tatiana Farook; and Tatiana’s sister, Maria Chernykh were all charged with a marriage fraud scam involving the acquisition of a Green Card for Russian citizen Maria.
Enrique Marquez, who was previously arrested for providing guns for Syed Farook, was being paid to go through a marriage with Maria Chernykh, who was in a relationship and had a child with another man. The couple lived in Los Angeles.
