Civil rights activist Harriet Tubman will replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill. CBS News correspondent Julianna Goldman joins CBSN to discuss what other currency changes we can expect.
Harriet Tubman was an African-American abolitionist, humanitarian, and a Union spy during the American Civil War. She was born into slavery, escaped slavery and is credited with leading thirteen missions to rescue approximately seventy enslaved families and friends. Tubman was a Civil War Nurse, Suffragist, and Civil Rights activist.
Ironically her nickname “Minty” was printed on a reward notice printed in the Cambridge Democrat.
