Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw apologized Wednesday for yelling an anti-gay slur at someone on the ice after he was sent to the penalty box late in Chicago’s Game 4 loss at home to the St. Louis Blues. (April 20)
Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw was suspended for one game and ordered to undergo sensitivity training after uttering an anti-gay slur from the penalty box to someone on the ice in Chicago’s Game 4 loss at home to the St. Louis Blues.
Shaw apparently used two two-syllable “F” words — the adjective F-bomb followed by the word that is being classified as anti-gay and homophobic (and apparently not meaning a discarded cigarette).
