VIDEO: Wall collapse and mezzanine collapse in warehouse on South Clearbrook Drive south of Algonquin Road, Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:42 PM Tuesday to a report of a roof collapse during a construction project at a warehouse at 2525 South Clearbrook Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one person was injured.
Upon arrival firefighter/paramedics discovered that one carpenter had an apparent minor injury. The worker was not transported to the hospital.
Firefighters cordoned off the area, and requested the building department respond to the scene.
A mezzanine and walled area inside the warehouse collapsed while carpenters were working in the area.
