This morning in downtown Arlington Heights is the first Chicago 2016 Shamrock Beer Run. The event is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the historic and beautiful downtown Arlington Heights area at the intersection of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street (217 W. Campbell Street). Expect to see a lot of green; that is, a lot of happy Irish-green decorated runners!
What? The event serves alcohol, so local laws and ordinances apply. Participation is limited to those who are 21 years of age or older. A valid proof of age ID will be required to receive a wrist band that signifies an approved participant.
A large crowd is anticipated in downtown Arlington Heights, and parking could be limited, especially on areas of along Campbell Street and Dunton Avenue.
