Deerfield police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:55 PM Thursday to a rollover truck crash on the Tri-State Tollway Eastbound/Southbound at the 23.5 Mile Marker. Illinois State Police and Deerfield-Bannockburn firefighter/paramedics received a report of a rollover truck crash with a fire on the Tri-State (I-94) southbound at Mile Marker 23.
The crash is reported to involve a semi-trailer truck and an SUV. Early in the response, the truck was reported to be carrying canned goods and/or multi-vitamins. All people were out of the vehicles by 1:00 p.m.
On arrival of Deerfield-Bannockburn firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Troopers, the truck was on its side and fully-involved with fire.

The Tri-State Tollway is closed in both directions near the crash scene, which is north of Deerfield Road near Lake Eleanor to the east and Deerfield Park District Golf Course to the west..
