Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:30 PM Thursday to a report of a tree down on a power line in the block of 700 North Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL.. A tall pine tree snapped in half and fell on some power lines in the backyards on the block.
About 120 to 250 people were reported to be without power in the neighborhood.
Estimated time of power restoration was 9 PM, but the power was restored to some customers by 3:10 PM when ComEd crews isolated the area with the downed power line.
