Capitol police are locking down the entire US Capitol complex. Shelter in place order just went into place at about 2:55 p.m. ET.
US Congress is also in lockdown.
One US Capitol police officer was initially reported shot at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, but later it was reported that a female bystander was injured.
Shooter is in custody, but “Shelter in Place” status remains.
