Peyton Manning, a five-time league MVP and two-time Super Bowl winner, played for the Indianapolis Colts for 14 seasons between 1998 and 2011, and next played with the Denver Broncos for four seasons from 2012 to 2015. Winning in Super Bowl XLI and Super Bowl 50, Manning also appeared in Super Bowls two other times, becoming the only starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two different franchises, and the only quarterback to start the Super Bowl for two different franchises more than once each.
With a forecast for rain for Super Bowl XLI, the Indiana Colts quarterback practiced taking snaps and passing footballs dunked in water in anticipation of a wet super bowl. The Colts beat the Bears 29 to 17.
