Police in Pakistan are hunting militants behind a suicide bomb attack that has killed at least 70 people and injured at least 341 people.
A bomb was detonated about 6:45 p.m. Easter Sunday in a neighborhood park in Lahore. The blast in Gulshan Iqbal Park killed a large number of women and children. Although the offenders behind the bombing are believed to have targeted Christian, a large number of Muslims were killed.
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a group affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban as a “splinter” group, claimed responsibility for the attack.
