Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 7:10 AM Monday to a report of a multi-vehicle crash on Southbound Route 53 And Euclid Ave Rolling Meadows, IL. Illinois State Police and Rolling Meadows firefighter/paramedics received a report of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries involving a Comcast van and two or three other vehicles in the center lanes of southbound Route 53 just south of Euclid Avenue.
A taxi cab was also possibly involved.
Rolling Meadows Battalion Chief on arrival reported four vehicles involved with moderate damage right at the bottom of the southbound ramp from Euclid Avenue.
Firefighters reported that the center lane and three lanes total were blocked with motorists passing on the right shoulder.
A second ambulance was requested at 7:17 AM –Ambulance 15 assigned.
