Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:03 PM Thursday to a report of a house fire at 195 Cindy Lane Wheeling, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a house was on fire and that one person was pulled out of the house.
Wheeling Ambulance 23’s crew on arrival reported flames showing through the roof at about 4:06 p.m. Paramedics were immediately treating a patient outside the house.
Wheeling Engine 23’s crew reported the fire was upstairs at the back of the house at 4:07 p.m.
Wheeling police reported there were no additional victims inside the house.
The fire was knocked down, but was completely struck out at about 5:22 p.m.
Two patients were transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Ambulance 23’s paramedic crew.
