VIDEO: Investigation after armed robbery at Fox & Hound Sports Tavern at Dundee Road Near Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights Saturday night.
UPDATE: A Fox & Hound Tavern spokesperson reported that an armed robbery occurred behind Fox & Hound in an alley behind the bar. The alley runs north and south just west of the strip mall building.
Arlington Heights police responded about 8:01 PM Saturday to an armed robbery behind Fox & Hound Sports Tavern, 910 West Dundee Road Arlington Heights, IL. There was a large crowd inside the bar, but no staff at Fox & Hound were aware of the armed robbery that occurred outside the bar. The parking lot was full near the sports bar at the time of the armed robbery. The offender displayed a handgun during the robbery.
The suspect was described as male/black, age 33, 6’0″ heavyset, wearing dark clothing.
The offender took cash and was last seen heading on foot toward Dundee Road.
There may possibly have been a struggle at the rear alley of the bar. There were no injuries reported.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 8:00 p.m.
