A stationary school bus parked at an elementary school jumped forward and killed and adult and injured at least four kids were injured.
The incident occurred outside Amy Beverland Elementary School in Lawrence Township (11650 Fox Rd, Oaklandon, IN) about 2:45 p.m. There were 25 kids on a stationary bus when the bus lurched forward.
Two children were seriously injured and were transported to Riley Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the bus is uninjured, and all of the other kids on the bus are fine. They are being sheltered in the school.
