The NFL owners voted to allow the St. Louis Rams to move to Los Angeles for the 2016 season.
League owners in Houston decided in a 30-2 vote to approve the return of the Rams to Los Angeles. The decision marks a long-awaited return of the NFL to the Los Angeles area, which hasn’t had an NFL team since 1994.
National Football League owners approved plans Tuesday for the St. Louis Rams to move to a proposed stadium in Inglewood. There will be an option for the Chargers to share the facility if the team can’t reach a viable stadium deal in San Diego.
