VIDEO: One person was transported by paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital after a crash at the beginning of rush hour Wednesday at Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue in Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:46 PM Wednesday to a report of crash with injuries at Palatine Road and Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report from a fire department officer from another suburb of a crash in the intersection. The fire department officer stopped to provide assistance to the people involved in the crash before Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics arrived.
A pickup truck received severe front-end damage in the crash. Using extrication tools, firefighters quickly popped a door on one of the vehicles.
One patient was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
