Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:01 AM Sunday of a theft in the block of 99 West Canterbury Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed the victim’s Star Shower Christmas lights, valued at $60, from the yard.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, December 13, 2015 between 1:00 AM and 09:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 8:00 (hours: minutes).
Reports of thefts of Star Shower laser lights are numerous in cities across the United States — in Erie, Colorado; Knoxville, Tennessee; Michigan; Green Bay,Wisconsin; Mesquite, Texas; and Charlotte, North Carolina for example.
So far two other Star Shower thefts were reported this season, according to the Arlington Heights Police Department. A theft occurred on Dunton Avenue south of Oakton Street about 24 hours before the Canterbury Drive theft, and a theft on South Bristol Lane near Park Street occurred a little more than 24 hours after the Canterbury Drive Theft.
