VIDEO: Tow operations after extrication crash that injured four people at Williams Drive and Sanborn Drive, Palatine
Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:19 AM Thursday to a report of a crash with injuries at Williams Drive And Sanborn Drive Palatine, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash into a tree with people trapped in the car.
Police were first on the scene and reported four patients. The vehicle with heavy damage was located on the southwest corner of the T-intersection of Williams Drive and Sanborn Drive. Firefighter/paramedics went to work extricating two patients from the vehicle after finding three patients in the car, and one injured person outside the car.
Extrication of all patients from a Toyota Echo was completed by 1:45 a.m.
A total of four patients were transported to Northwest Community Hospital. The extent of each patient’s injuries was unknown.
Just over a year ago on Tuesday December 16, 2014, a rollover crash occurred on a curve on Sanborn Drive about one block east of the intersection with Williams Drive.
