VIDEO: Motorcycle crash scene on southbound Route 53 south of Euclid Avenue.
Rolling Meadows and Palatine firefighter/paramedics and the Illinois State Police responded about 8:26 AM Thursday to a report of a motorcycle crash with injuries at Route 53 and Euclid Avenue Rolling Meadows, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that motorcyclist crashed and was down on the roadway in the southbound lanes of Route 53.
Firefighter/paramedics on the scene reported one motorcyclist was injured and unconscious in the center lane.
Firefighter/paramedics immediately protected the scene with placement of a fire engine and left the far left lane open. All other southbound lanes were closed.
The male motorcyclist was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Illinois State Police kept the center and right lanes closed and closed the onramp to southbound Route 53 from Euclid Avenue.
