Possibly up to 18 people have been killed in multiple scenes of violence in Paris occurring about 11:00 p.m. Local Time in Paris.
Multiple shooting incidents with at least two dead and seven injured in eastern Paris. Gunmen used Kalashnikovs to kill at least two people outside the petit Cambodge restaurant in Paris 10th borough. The scene is located in a trendy district in eastern Paris next to the canal Saint Martin. The night scene there is popular with young Parisians and foreign tourists during the weekend.
A second incident is believed to have taken place near the Bataclan club, which is located near the former offices of Charlie Hebdo, where 12 were killed in January 2015.
Police have evacuated bars and restaurants in the area and cordoned off the shooting zone.
Hostages are reported taken at a concert hall (Bataclan?) in Central Paris. As many as 60 people are reported to be held hostage about 11:00 p.m. Friday in Paris. Early report of 14 dead at the concert hall.
