Illinois State Police and Long Grove firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:03 AM Saturday to a report of a rollover truck crash at the Route 53 Spur and Lake Cook Road Long Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a semi-trailer truck was involved in a rollover crash, and that the truck driver was out of the vehicle on his own power. The driver apparently had minor or no injuries.
The driver also reported no hazardous material cargo in the truck’s trailer.
The rollover crash occurred on the ramp from the northbound Route 53 spur to westbound Lake Cook Road.
A northbound backup is developing quickly, and motorists should expect the westbound exit to closed for at least the next hour or two.
Exit to eastbound Lake Cook Road is also delayed because of traffic congestion.
