President Barack Obama declared ISIS was “contained” in an interview with George Stephanopolous, a day before simultaneous attacks were allegedly carried out by ISIS attackers in six locations in Paris. The attackers killed at least 140 people dead. The Obama interview was broadcast Friday morning on Good Morning America just hours before the Paris attacks.

“We’ve always understood that our goal has to be militarily constraining ISIL’s capabilities, cutting off their supply lines, cutting off their financing,” Obama said.
