Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:06 AM Wednesday to a report of a house fire at 414 Selkirk Drive Schaumburg, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that smoke was coming from a house at the corner of Selkirk Drive and Elmhurst Lane.
Police were first on the scene an reported smoke showing.
Firefighters on arrival reported light smoke showing from the rear of the house. Inside there was some difficulty finding the seat of the fire.
The fire was extinguished by about 9:50 a.m.
The building department was called to the scene, and a change of quarters MABAS Box Alarm was called about 10:00 a.m.
