High Number of Power Outages this Morning Near Deer Park Town Center, Long Grove, Palatine, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton/Carol Stream, Maywood and River Forest

Several power outages were reported in the northwest suburbs and west suburbs Sunday morning in Long Grove, Palatine, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton/Carol Stream, Maywood and River Forest.

Power was out near Deer Park Town Center, but Barnes & Noble did NOT lose power. The Apple Store was not answering their direct phone line, and it was unknown if all stores had normal power at the shopping center.

Power in the Deer Park area was expected to be restored by 11:15 a.m.

Wind this morning was calm under sunny skies with the air temperature ranging from 29°F to 43°F from 4:00 am. to 9:00 a.m.

Firefighter/paramedics reported a large area power outage on the scene in the area of Apache Day Camp and Kemper Lakes Golf Club.

Firefighter/paramedics also reported traffic control lights out at Lake Cook Road and Rand Road.
