France launched “massive” air strikes on the Islamic State group’s de-facto capital in Syria on Sunday night, destroying a jihadi training camp and a munitions dump in the city of Raqqa.

ISIS claims Raqqa as the “capital” of its so-called caliphate where targets included a command center, a recruitment center, an ammunition storage base and a training camp for the terror group, according to Mickael Soria, press adviser for France’s defense minister. ISIS claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks.
The airstrikes occurred within 48 hours after a series of terrorist attacks in Paris late Friday night. President described as “an act of war.”
