Survivors Led To Safety From Paris Theater: Automatic gunfire and blasts had rung out from the area of Bataclan music hall where police say people are being held hostage.
A music venue Bataclan, where Palm Desert, California band Eagles of Death Metal were performing a sold-out concert in Paris, was the target of a terror attack Friday about 10:30 p.m. Local Time Paris.
Police report they terrorists are holding 100 hostages inside the Bataclan venue. Some people have exited the venue with blood on them. They have reported that the shooters inside were unmasked and were shooting calmly. Another witness reported they were wearing masks.
Julien Pearce, a radio reporter that witnessed the terrorist attack at a Paris theater tells CNN’s Wolf Blitzer chilling details of the attack.
Witnesses report the young men were yelling, “This is for Syria!” and “Allahu Akbar.”
One person reloaded their weapon multiple times, which allowed some people to escape the Bataclan venue.
Eagles of Death Metal is the collaboration of band members Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Homme was not present for the European tour.
Witnesses reported hostages are being murdered one by one, as shots are heard outside.
Five new explosions were reported about 12:20 a.m. which is reported to be an assault by the French police and/or military — a police operation against the terrorists.
Report of 12 people rescued from Bataclan by 12:50 a.m. Local Time Paris.
Report that two terrorist attackers have been neutralized and the Bataclan venue has been secured by 12:55 a.m. Saturday. All three attackers are dead. One of the attacker’s was killed by an unknown method.
