Two Louisiana cops have been charged with murder after they allegedly gunned down an autistic 6-year-old boy and seriously wounded his father earlier this week.

Two police officers shot Christopher Few and his autistic son, Jeremy Mardis, after they said Christopher Few put his car in reverse in a threatening manner. Jeremy Mardis, age 6, was killed in the shooting after a short pursuit in Marksville, Louisiana — about 90 miles northwest of Baton Rouge. Mardis was shot in the head and chest.

The police officers on the scene said there was a warrant out for Christopher Few. There is possibly no evidence of a warrant.

A bodycam video does not support the threat report. Louisiana State Police Col. Michael Edmonson said in a press conference that the bodycam video is the most disturbing thing he has ever scene. Two police officers were arrested after the review of the video.

Norris Greenhouse Jr., 32, and Derrick Stafford, 23, were charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. Two other marshals involved in the chase were not charged.

The Louisiana State Police are leading the investigation.
