Winnetka police responded about 11:03 AM Friday to an armed robbery at Chase Bank, 791 Elm Street Winnetka, IL. Police received a report that an armed robber passed a note to a teller at the Chase Bank demanding money and implying the offender had a gun and a knife.
The offender did not display a weapon.
The offender was described as a female/white, medium build, wearing a black hat, gray cardigan, dark leather jacket, and blue jeans.
Cash was placed into a black purse.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 11:00 a.m.
