Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:25 PM Monday to a report of crash with injuries at McHenry Road and Lake Cook Road Buffalo Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a car was possibly on fire in a crash at the intersection.
Buffalo Grove’s battalion chief report three vehicles involved in a crash with at least two vehicles with heavy damage. The battalion chief reported no car fire at the scene.
A dark green Blazer and a white car were involved in the crash. Two people remained in injured in one of the vehicles.
A traffic signal was also knocked down at this crash scene, and the intersection was completely shut down during rescue and cleanup/recovery of the crashed vehicles.
