Several power outage are reported in the area. Gusty winds and/or lightning strikes have damage power lines in the area.
In Arlington there are about 915 customers without power near Regency Drive West and Kensington Road north of Prospect High School, according to ComEd.
There area also sporadic outages south of Central Road and East of Arlington Heights Road.

In Hoffman Estates over 2,000 customers are without power.
Azalea Circle near Seton Pl in Hoffman Estates near Schaumbrug Rd and Ridge Circle and other locations. Lines were reported down near Roselle Road and Forest Park Lane south of Higgins Road and Roselle Road in Hoffman Estates.
In Schaumburg about 1,219 customers are without power along Higgins Road and along Roselle Rd.
In Streamwood about 1,128 customers are without power.
In Mount Prospect about 899 customers are without power.
In Elk Grove Village about 937 customers are without power.
In Des Plaines about 1,085 customers are without power.
