Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:27 AM Wednesday to a report of a fire in an apartment kitchen at 842 East Old Willow Road Prospect Heights, IL. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that police discovered two people on a balcony facing the south parking that needed rescue.
Police also reported the fire is out on arrival.
Prospect Heights Engine 39 on arrival reported a 2-story apartment with nothing showing.
Firefighters reported the fire is out with all companies working. Two rescues were actually on a balcony on the courtyard side.
One patient was transported to Glenbrook Hospital by an Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics crew in Ambulance 2.
