Armed robbery at 24-ATM drive-thru at Chase Bank on East Golf Road just east of Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights police responded about 11:03 PM Monday to an armed robbery at the ATM Chase Bank, 43 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a woman was robbed at gunpoint at the 24-hour ATM at Chase Bank on East Golf Road next to McDonald’s.
The offender was described as a male/black, age 22, 5’10” thin build, last seen wearing a dark bandana over his face, a dark hooded sweatshirt with gray stripes, and dark pants.
The offender was reported to have been armed with a short-barreled black revolver.
The offender was last seen westbound on Golf Road from the scene.
The 24-hour ATM drive-thru is located on the west side of the building — secluded by shrubs on the west and south property line.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 11:02 p.m.
Arlington Heights police set up a perimeter west of the bank from Golf Road to Algonquin Road. Southbound Arlington Heights Road was blocked for about 20 minutes while police searched for the offender.
