Three former Google engineers have created a $30 PC called the Remix Mini from Jide.
The Remix Mini is a small portable Android-based computer that can run multiple screens. Remix Mini is also set to run all the apps that are available through the Google Play app store, and will be able to function as full productivity device, including Microsoft Office suite of apps for Android.
Remix Mini has the ability to connect to WiFi and Bluetooth and it has a USB slot and an SD card slot.
There are two versions:
1 gigabyte RAM and 8 gigabytes of storage eMMC.
2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of storage eMMC.

Jide is also manufacturing an “ultra tablet” with an 11.6″ screen.
The Remix Mini requires at least one computer monitor or TV flat screen with an HDMI input.
