Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:18 PM Wednesday to a report of a man that jumped from the top of the parking garage across from Dunton Tower Apartments, 55 South Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report found a young male landed in landscaping mulch in the parkway between a tree and the skywalk from Dunton Tower to the Vail Avenue Parking garage at 22 South Vail Avenue.
The male patient was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
Several people saw the aftermath and the commotion after fall. Police are investigating the whether the young male subject jumped or accidentally fell. Police and firefighter/paramedics were also investigating from what level of the parking garage the injured young man fell. The impact of the fall made a significant impression in the mulch in the parkway, just north of the skywalk on the parking garage side of Vail Avenue.
