Perry County deputies responded about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday after shots were fired around on a group of soldiers training in the area.
Police are searching for two male/white suspects that allegedly fired shots at a group of soldiers at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a red 2-door Ford Ranger with the words with “broken arrow” written across the top.
Forrest County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Forestry Commission are assisting in the search. No injuries were reported.
Police are asking citizens with information to call Perry County authorities at 601-964-8461.
