An Iowa poll shows that GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is tied with Donald Trump. CNN’s Dana Bash reports.
Presidential candidate Ben Carson started the week moving into a tie position with Donald Trump in a new poll released Monday. Non-career politicians lead the GOP with Trump and Carson lead at 23 percent. Former HP chief Carly Fiorina is in second place at 10 percent.
Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, also has the highest favorability rating of any candidate (81 percent). That’s 14 points higher than Fiorina (67 percent). Trumps favorability rating has improved — changing from an unfavorable rating of 63% in May 2015 to a favorable rating of 61% at the end of August 2015.
