Police have arrested a suspect after three people were injured in a shooting on a train in northern France. CNN’s Jim Bitterman reports.
A young Moroccan man armed with a Kalashnikov with multiple ammunition cartridges and a knife opened fire inside a high-speed train traveling from Amsterdam to Paris Friday. His shooting injured three people — including two American soldiers who subdued him. Two of the shooting victims are listed in critical condition.
The 26-year-old suspect from Morocco was arrested after the train stopped at the station in Arras, 115 miles north of Paris.
