Two thunderstorm cells have developed near Rockford in Boone County and Winnebago County, and across McHenry County and Lake County.
The storm over Rockford has a 48,000 foot top with 100 percent chance of hail at about 4:40 p.m. Hail size could be up to 1.50 inch.
The storm over McHenry and Lake County has a 47,000 foot top with 100 percent chance of hail and a maximum hail size of 1.00 inch.
The storm over McHenry County and Lake County at 4:45 p.m. should be over most areas of Arlington Heights by about 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
The more intense part of the storm may be west of Arlington Heights in Palatine, Inverness, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg.
No Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued as of 4:55 p.m.
