Illinois State Police, Arlington Heights police and Palatine firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:30 AM Saturday to a one vehicle pickup truck crash at 42.109928, -88.000559 (IL-53 AND Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL). Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a pickup truck left the roadway and hit a light pole.
Arlington Heights police on the scene reported the driver was not injured.
The exit ramp is a common area for crashes.
On Saturday, wet payment was probably related as a cause to many crashes in Chicagoland.
There were three crashes reported on Sutton Road at Shoe Factory Road, Golf Road and Irving Park Road during the afternoon hours Saturday.
