Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a 7-year-old male victim was conscious and breathing after CPR was performed.
Lifeguard Faith Sheely was credited Friday afternoon with discovering the near drowning victim, pulling the boy from the pool, and performing CPR until the boy was breathing on his own.
The boy was transported to St Alexius Medical Center.
