Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:15 PM Tuesday to a report of a natural gas odor 5 South Dryden Place Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a resident smelled gas when he came home after Nicor worked on a scheduled visit to replace a gas line behind a stove in the apartment.
The resident turned off a gas valve and opened windows, but apparently there is still a gas odor outside near the apartment.
Firefighters called for Nicor to return to the scene for assessment and repair.
