VIDEO: Intersection crash with one car into a utility pole and fence at Arlington Heights Road and Hintz Road near Kay’ Animal Shelter.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:37 PM Monday to a report of crash with injuries at Arlington Heights Road and Hintz Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a crash occurred that resulted in a Toyota Camry off the road and into a pole.
Firefighter/paramedics responded to the scene, but all people involved in the crash refused transportation to the hospital.
Apparently a pickup truck driver had a green arrow to make a left turn from eastbound Hintz Road to northbound Arlington Heights Road.
The driver of a Toyota Camry was apparently northbound on Arlington Heights Road when it sideswiped the pickup truck. The Toyota Camry then left the roadway, struck a wood utility pole and smashed through a chain link fence.
The utility pole snapped away at the base, and brought down data utility lines from AT&T and/or Comcast. Apparently, no electric power lines were brought down in the crash.
It was unknown what charges were cited after the crash at the time of this report.
