Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:39 AM Monday to and activated fire alarm at Weber-Stephen, 250 South Hicks Road Palatine, IL. Firefighter crews on arrival reported most smoke is showing on the south side of the building. Staff on scene also reported there is some type of fire inside.
Fire command upgraded the call to a Working Fire Response at about 8:43 a.m.
Firefighters report and appliance fire occurred inside the building, and that the fire was out by 8:50 a.m.
Firefighters are working on de-energizing the appliance — presumably some type of manufacturing appliance.
Firefighters are also went to work ventilating the building.
