VIDEO: Police question two men who reported by witness to have been involved in a fight near the Metra train station in downtown Arlington Heights Sunday night.
Arlington Heights police responded about 9:30 PM Sunday to a report of a fight in progress at the Metra train station, 45 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police responded within about a minute, and separated two males in their late 20s or early 30s.
Witnesses on the scene reported one of the men chased the other may to a grassy area south of the tracks at the Metra station. One of the men appeared to be trying to get away from the other man, according to witnesses.
Neither of the men appeared to be injured. One of the men boarded an inbound train after the two men were questioned by police. Police also checked identification of the two men.
Several woman appeared to be a little frightened by the fight, and were relieved to board the inbound train.
No arrests or charges were applied to either man, and then man that didn’t board the train remained near the train station after police left.
